Vinranalians are a race that I made up of humanoid canines with some feline qualities. They live roughly the same length as humans. They're natural predators in that they have claws, sharper senses and exceptional night vision. Vinranalians live in tribes with a strong emphesis on community. They tend to worship spirits of the physical elements.

Homeworld: Enraa (My fantasy world)

History: Lawk is a hunter who watched his parents get killed by monsters as a pup. He has since become bitter, isolating himself from others. He believed he had nothing and thought no one else cared about him (which isn't true). He has had to survive tough times living in starvation and loneliness for many years of his life. Lawk then meets his best friend Dinn in a fateful encounter, but is initially annoyed by Dinn due to his cheerful personality and his tendancy to ask lots of questions. But he eventually starts to warm up to Dinn when they find that they have more in common than they thought. With Dinn and his friends' help, Lawk and his tribe are able to escape the wasteland they lived in and now lead much healthier and happier lives (for the moment).

In another twist of fate, Dinn and Lawk find a portal (created by a series of complicated events) that takes them to Earth, forever connecting the human world of Earth and their world of Enraa. While clearing out a monster-infested ruin, Lawk finds and becomes embodied by an earth spirit, allowing him to use earth magic and giving him the title of "Earthcaller Shaman".

While traveling the human world, Dinn breaks some expensive merchandise and has to work at Innkuties to work off the debt. Lawk also applied, begrudgingly, to get his friend's debt paid faster.

Lawk worked at Innkuties for a year and half, defending the bar from drunks and other unsavory characters. He learned much from his cowrkers, who were centuries older than him, and he earned the respect of the 500 year old vampire, Krisstoph Kline. Lawk left Innkuties when Dinn's debt was finally paid and they returned to Aurorawood to start the next phase of their lives. Several decades and grandpups later, Death finally caught up to him. Lawk ascended to the Spirit World, having lived a full life. 

Personality: Since witnessing his parents' deaths, Lawk has become reclusive, broody, and overall a complete prick. Lawk is a good person, he just doesn't show it all that often. Dinn, however, has been slowly softening him. While at first snarky and rude, once Lawk warms up to someone he becomes much more enjoyable to be around.

Accessory: Spear and stone knives. The blade on the bottom of his spear is detachable.

Combat and Abilities: Being a hunter, Lawk prefers stealth when possible. When it's not, Lawk uses his impressive agility and acrobatics to evade and counter blows. He can use his earth magic to power his stone knife throws and can shoot stalagmites from beneath his foes. Lawk, of course, doesn't use his earth magic while on the job as a bouncer (otherwise, he'd wreck the foundation).

Likes: Chocolate ice cream, hunting, the outdoors in general, carving wooden figurines, cardio workouts

Dislikes: Confined spaces, authority figures, being refered to as a dog or werewolf, wasting food, loud noises

Extras: Lawk has a gold-colored stripe that goes from the back of his head and down his chest. One of the ornaments on Lawk's hunter necklace is Dinn's tooth. Lawk has a few scars; most of them are covered by his shirt and fur. He has an Irish accent!
